« The multimedia collection At the Dawn of Life is an extraordinary challenge, the one to put within the reach of all the professionals of infancy, French or foreign, the present state of the work of the "French school of paedopsychiatry". One could object that the second edition of the Traité de Psychiatrie de l'Enfant et de l'Adolescent, PUF (Treatise of Psychiatry of the Child and Adolescent) already represents a synthesis of the present state of this discipline. It would be forgetting the deeply innovative character of the chosen media that associates written text, videotapes and CD-Rom. It is thus a new tool , like there was no other to our knowledge. [.]
